I love this image because there is so much going on in one GIF, and you can watch it over and over again and find something new every time. Gannis identifies herself as a “visual storyteller,” which I think is a great way to describe digital art. With all the new technology we have, storytelling has become so much easier and broader. I love the contrast of colors, and how parts of the piece aren’t “glitched,” such as the walls and bricks. The “glitches” are very obvious: the superhero in the center, the break in the wall, and the tweets on the wall. She tells an entire story in three seconds.
